Our farm is run by three family members.

Mary Lou Shenot

Photo of Mary Lou Shenot making fudgeMary Lou runs the market, where our produce, as well as a variety of other delicious foods and gifts are available to our customers. In fact, she oversees the business and marketing aspects of the operation, including our web site.

In addition, throughout the year, Mary Lou makes over 50 flavors of fresh, homemade fudge, including fudge treats like fudge-covered apples and fudge pops (fudge-covered marshmallows on a stick). She also makes lots of kettle corn and other treats.

Ed Shenot

Ed has a Bachelor of Science degree in Horticulture from the Penn State University, College of Agricultural Sciences.

Ed oversees the entire farm operation. In particular, each fall, Ed is responsible for obtaining the perfect blend of apples for our award-winning apple cider.

Rob Shenot

Rob, one of Mary Lou and Ed’s three children, assists with farming operations.robs-family-picture

Like his father, he has a Bachelor’s degree in Horticulture from Penn State University, College of Agricultural Sciences.

Rob is in charge of the greenhouse operations, irrigation management, and oversees all farm employees.

Rob was named to the Mid-Atlantic Master Farmer’s Association in 2012. He was President of the PA Vegetable Growers Association. He also serves on the USDA Stake Holder Advisory Panel for the Brown Marmorated Stink Bug.

He lives on the farm with his wife and child.
