Mary Lou Shenot

Mary Lou runs the market, where our produce, as well as a variety of other delicious foods and gifts are available to our customers. In fact, she oversees the business and marketing aspects of the operation, including our web site.

In addition, throughout the year, Mary Lou makes over 50 flavors of fresh, homemade fudge, including fudge treats like fudge-covered apples and fudge pops (fudge-covered marshmallows on a stick). She also makes lots of kettle corn and other treats.

Ed Shenot

Ed is the fifth generation of Shenot to operate our farm.

Ed has a Bachelor of Science degree in Horticulture from the Penn State University, College of Agricultural Sciences.

Ed oversees the entire farm operation. In particular, each fall, Ed is responsible for obtaining the perfect blend of apples for our award-winning apple cider.

Rob Shenot

Rob, one of Mary Lou and Ed’s three children, assists with farming operations.

Like his father, he has a Bachelor’s degree in Horticulture from Penn State University, College of Agricultural Sciences.

Rob is in charge of the greenhouse operations, irrigation management, and oversees all farm employees.

He is Second Vice President of the PA Vegetable Growers Association and a Director of the PA State Horticultural Association.
